We can’t wait to see you at the polls. The first election to vote in is the Democratic Primary (Tuesday, September 13th 2022), voting for Becca in this election helps secure a spot for her on the General Election Ballot in November. 

Can I Vote for Becca?

YES! To vote for Becca in the Democratic Primary on September 13th you must be: 

  • A citizen of the United States;
  • 18 years old on or before the date of the next General Election (Nov. 8th 2022)
  • A resident of Delaware living within the House of Representatives District 6
  • Registered as a Democrat

The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13th 2022. Only registered voters from participating parties may vote in the Primary Election.

Yes. To vote by mail go to ivote.de.gov website, click the blue “Vote By Mail Ballot or Absentee Ballot” box, acknowledge the terms of use, and then click the option “REQUEST A VOTE BY MAIL BALLOT (NO REASON NEEDED).” To receive your Vote By Mail ballot, simply then confirm your mailing address, your anticipated location on Election Day, and whether you would like a Vote By Mail ballot for the Primary Election (September 13th), the General Election (November 8th), or both. Use the DMV confirmation of signature to complete and submit your request.  If you don’t use the DMV confirmation, you will need to print out the form, sign it, and mail it in to the Department of Elections. Note: You can order your ballot now; however, the ballots themselves will not be mailed until August 15th.

Yes. If you or someone you know is not yet registered to vote in the State of Delaware but would like to see a fresh, passionate, and progressive voice representing you in the Delaware House, please be aware that you can simply register for and vote in the Democratic Primary Election on Tuesday, September 13th, 2022. All you need is your Delaware Driver’s License or State Identification Card, or a recent utility bill or bank statement confirming your current name and mailing address. 

Yes. Early in person voting will be available during business hours (until 7:00pm) from Wednesday, August 31 through Sunday, September 11, 2022 (closed 9/4 and 9/5) at the Claymont Community Center (3301 Green Street, Claymont, DE 19703), as well as a few other locations throughout New Castle County established by the Department of Elections and found on the Department’s website.
